OUR VISION

Investing in people until they experience healing, health, and hope from the inside out

Mental health problems are the most common reason for disability in the US.  Abusive, neglectful, dysfunctional, and fleeting relationships are so prevalent they rarely shock us anymore.  Community engagement and public recreation (like swimming pools, skating rinks, and parks) are being exchanged for social networking and video games.  Addiction is rampant: affecting nearly 1 out of 4 families in every State.  Mass shootings and terrorist activities occur almost weekly as people learn the hard way that ideas have consequences.  The american culture has become obsessed with status, image, pleasure, possessions, and wealth.  Our communities are saturated with people who are poor but entitled; rich but lonely; impassioned but aimless; busy but hollow; creative but anxious; caring but confused; and hopeful but faithless.  There is so much to tend to when one of these "cultural casualties" seek out help that professionals and practitioners end up settling for merely relieving (or numbing) symptoms and propping them up with psychological feel-good fluff in order to turn a quick profit.  "Treat 'em and street 'em" they say.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

Despite the despairing paragraph above, we know and live a life of peace, authenticity, purpose, freedom, contentment, stability, hope, joy, and kindness.  We have been transformed from the inside out because at least one person took the time to invest in us personally and walk with us through our mess.  We endeavor to help hundreds more by joining resources to invest in the members of our community who have been overlooked, under-served, numbed out, locked up, medicated, sedated, and shamed into silence. It's time for people to truly connect with each other again; for professionals to truly listen to the needs of their customers.  Our prayer is that other professionals/organizations will share our vision and collaborate with us to bring healing, health, and hope to our community.

OUR STORY

Casualties → Catalysts

It is an honor and a privilege to be given a platform to comfort, encourage, and inspire others with the education and experience we have accumulated.  We are in a position to help others, but we are no better than others.  We understand being a single-parent; having too much month at the end of the money; feeling stuck in a toxic relationship; being "burned" by religion; the ravaging of addiction; the darkness of depression; and the relentless oppression of shame.  We have each experienced lasting change from the inside out, unashamedly by the power of God and not of ourselves.  We still struggle with doubts, fear, control, temptation, anger, and other things - but we are not defined, destined, or destroyed by them.  We have been given a fresh start at life and we desire to help others experience that as well.

We have partnered up to reach out, and we're committed to working with people individually until they too experience healing, health, and hope from the inside out.
